- The majority of financial aid for our dental programs is provided through loans.
- You may be awarded a need-based scholarship if you have demonstrated significant financial need per your FAFSA information. Merit scholarships are rare.
- Parental information is required on UFCD financial aid applications, and a parent tax return will be required.
- Reapply each year! Scholarships are not renewed automatically from year to year. If you were ineligible in a previous year, apply again; you may now be eligible.
For more information on scholarships, contact our Financial Aid Coordinator, Angela Moore, at 352-273-5999 or FinancialAid@dental.ufl.edu.
Any financial aid (scholarship, grant, loan, etc.) received via any source other than the University of Florida MUST be reported to the Office for Student Financial Affairs. Reports of outside aid should be submitted via the Additional Aid Reporting page in Student Self Service. Failure to report outside aid could jeopardize receipt of federal financial aid and/or result in repayment of federal financial aid funds. Please contact the UFCD Financial Aid Coordinator at FinancialAid@dental.ufl.edu with questions about this process.
The above information is for individuals currently in or starting the DMD Program.
