UF College of Dentistry offers eight ADA-recognized specialty programs and various fellowship programs to over 140 residents, fellows, and interns.
UFCD is one of two AADSAS-exclusive (one of three U.S.) dental schools offering eight ADA-recognized dental specialties. Having all specialty programs available to our DMD students allows them to explore different areas of dentistry before graduation.
In addition to mandatory rotations through specialties and diverse clinical settings, DMD students have an opportunity to get involved in specialty-specific interest groups and student organizations, shadow in specialty clinics, and establish rapport with faculty in respective areas of interest.
