The D.M.D.-M.P.H. Dual Degree Program is open to current D.M.D. students who are interested in receiving graduate training in the science, principles, and practice of public health.
By allowing some courses to be counted toward both degrees, the dual degree program reduces the number of credit hours that typically would be required to obtain the M.P.H. degree. This program is especially suited for academically strong candidates who envision a career in dental public health within academia, government, community health centers, military, or group practice.
This program has been recently approved for Fall 2014. Additional information about the program is available here.
