UFCD Application and Enrollment Requirements:
- Applications will not be reviewed by the admissions committee until DAT scores are verified through ADEA AADSAS.
- DAT scores must be received no later than November 1.
- When there are multiple testing dates, the most recent set of scores is considered.
- Canadian DAT scores do not satisfy UFCD admissions requirements.
- IMPORTANT: Minimum DAT scores listed below are not typically competitive. To learn about competitive scores, see recent Entering Class Stats.
- If you are dissatisfied with your scores, you must wait 60 days from your last attempt to take it again.
- Minimum score requirements for each section from a single test date are:

Advice for DAT preparation:
- Make sure to allow enough time to study for the DAT.
- Make a detailed weekly schedule of study time for each subject and for taking practice exams.
- If you choose to invest in a DAT preparatory course, choosing more than one or two may increase study time and reduce efficiency.
- Select study resources that are compatible with your learning style.
- Take multiple practice exams that can highlight weaknesses. Focus much of your effort on these areas.
- Do not neglect Quantitative Reasoning and the Perceptual Ability Test. Many students perform poorly in these areas when compared to other sections.
- Take the DAT early in the application cycle (May or June) in case you need to take it again before the November 1 deadline.
