Although traditionally the majority of your dental education is financed through student loans, scholarships are available for those who apply and qualify. The United States Armed Forces and the National Health Service Corps have some financial aid available for students pursuing a dental education.

The scholarship pays tuition, fees, other educational costs, and provides a living stipend in return for a commitment to work at least 2 years at an NHSC-approved site in a medically underserved community.
