- The Associated American Dental Schools Application Service (ADEA AADSAS) is a centralized application service which allows an applicant to send one application to each dental school the applicant designates.
- The ADEA AADSAS application cycle opens mid-May each year.
- The UFCD application deadline is November 1. However, the most successful UFCD applicants have a completed and verified application by September 1.
- IMPORTANT: ADEA AADSAS verifications can take on average two weeks to complete. A UFCD application will not be reviewed until it has been verified.

Advice for ADEA AADSAS and supplemental applications:
- Keep up to date by viewing your status in the applicant portal.
- Check your status BEFORE contacting UFCD with questions. If your status is Received/Under Review, do not contact our office.
- For the best chance for an interview, APPLY EARLY in the cycle. UFCD consistently receives over half of total applications by the end of July.
- All applications, including those that are incomplete, will be released for review as-is after the November 1 deadline. Priority is given to on-time DAT scores and letters of evaluation.
- Respond to your emails! You will receive an email from UFCD when your ADEA AADSAS application has been received. Pay attention to this email as it may ask for additional information.
- Check and double check junk mail and spam folders!
- Submit any outstanding documentation as quickly as possible.
- It can take 4-6 weeks for ADEA AADSAS to process your application before it is reviewed by UFCD. You will not receive communications from UFCD immediately after you click “submit;” we review applications once they are Verified and in the order in which they are received.
- Supplemental applications are by invitation only. A select number of applicants will receive an invitation for a supplemental application.
Information requested on the supplemental application will be used to determine the applicant’s initial residency classification for tuition purposes.
- Not every applicant will receive a request from UFCD to submit a supplemental application ($30 fee). A completed supplemental application is required for an interview.
- Not every applicant who has submitted a completed supplemental application will receive an invitation for an interview. An interview is required to be eligible for admission.
- Invitations for the supplemental application can be received as early as June and as late as February of each application cycle.
